Daily Discussion: Are you better off now than you were four years ago?
In 1980, it was the question posed by Ronald Reagan when he was running against Jimmy Carter. It’s the question that won him a massive election victory, and is the central question of every democratic election around the world— are you better off now than you were before?
During Katrina it was 72 hours before “The Feds” got aid into Katrina. A full week later Obama promises to look into it and see what he can do. Muslim Brotherhood (which spawned Al Qaeda) took the reigns in Libya and promises widespread oppression. Took Obama two No’s before giving the thumbs up to kill the bin Laden. Oh, and added an extra $5 trillion to the debt! Now that’s a winning record!
